Moira's contribution to the website is an online equipment exchange, a list of mechanical and garden equipment that we all store at the back of our sheds, and probably only use once or twice a year. So instead of hiring ladders, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, bow saw etc... we can check the list to see if anyone in the village owns the item we're looking for, then we can borrow and sign the item out for a period of time. Obviously we respect other people's property and if any damage occurs to the equipment the responsible adult pays for the repair or replacement. If there is enough interest we would like to add a secure area to the website which will be available to members by logging on with userid and password.
