Welcome to the Village Website

Gardens Open - It may have rained a little but who noticed anyway? Once again the event was a success and raised lots of money for the Church! Take a look at 10 gorgeous gardens, you never know, it could be the NGS next year! Thanks to all the gardeners who participated and put in a huge effort over the last few weeks.

Also, have a look at the Warminster Web as there's a feature on Sunday's Open Gardens, the article includes a couple of examples of gardens that were open on the day and Rowena Lane Garden Design gets a mention too! Hurry, not sure how long the feature will be available as their site is updated regularly. You may have met Simon Burn, Editor of the Warminster Web, on Sunday who visited all the gardens with his camera and his gorgeous puppy.

Norton Bavant Art - It's amazing how many creative people are drawn to Norton Bavant and the Wylye Valley, take a look at a new section to the site which includes profiles and a collection of artwork by some very talented artists and photographers. Our first spotlights fall on artist Annette Rumbelow and photographer Jim Wilson.

Calling all local artists - if you are a local artist living in Norton Bavant and would like to present some of your work here then do get in touch.

Hot off the Press: Anyone catch Battlesbury & Middle Hill featured on Secret Britain recently? It may still be available on iPlayer.

Autumn is coming! Time to get your chimney swept and have your burner serviced in preparation for the winter months. Have you thought about ordering your logs for the fire yet? Or if you have central heating - when was the last time you had the boiler serviced?

I want a brand new Combine Harvester - enjoy a local resident's first hand experience of harvest time in Norton Bavant, by day he's a very creative graphic designer who secretly yearns to farm the land (or perhaps he just wants to drive the Combine)!
