Changes to local policing

Wiltshire Police has made changes to keep in line with the new unitary council. The three areas which formed the Warminster rural area have been amalgamated into one large area managed by one Police beat manager, PC Vicki Pegrum. PC Pegrum will act as a single point of contact for Farm Watch, Neighbourhood Watch, and the neighbourhood targeting group, ensuring that all our rural communities receive the same level of commitment from the Police in dealing with rural crime and rural issues.

PC Martin Faulkner and PCSO Kelham Shearing will no longer be the area officers, moving to the Warminster response shift and Warminster Town NPT respectively. They have both enjoyed working rurally and are sad to be leaving.
