4 Matters arising (not listed on the agenda)
Angela and Jasper Williams have decided not to pursue their request for horse and rider warning signs on B.3095, close to the junction with the unclassified road to Norton Bavant, for the time being, but to see how many horse riders use the road this spring and summer.

5 Norton Bavant Website
The clerk thanked Angela and Jasper Williams, Lena Eijvergard and Jon Pollard for their continued work on developing and improving the Village Website. It is noted that Angela has put a lot of work into her role as the Editor and she has introduced some exciting new sections; particularly her innovative interviews with people in the village.

Lena spoke to the New Members’ Area on the Website This is a private area of the Website which only villagers are allowed access. She explained the scope of this new area, how to secure access to it and how to use it.

6 The Telephone Box
It was accepted that as we come into the spring and summer we ought to take the opportunity to repaint the Telephone Box and install a notice board. John Acworth, Michael Edgar, Michael Wooldridge, Edward Moore, Geoffrey Frost, Vivienne Edgar John Rendell and Gordon Evans agreed to help with this project.

7 The Village Hall and Playing Field
The clerk reported that the Village Hall is very much up together and that a replacement sound system has recently been purchased from monies raised at the Valentine Evening. The grassed area at the side of the hall is now well established. John Parker was thanked, in his absence, for laying a paved platform for the seat on this area. The Clerk encouraged the villagers to use this seat which provides an uninterrupted view of Scratchbury.

8 Core Funding Village Amenities
The Clerk reported that there had been a good response to his letter inviting more villagers to donate to the Amenity Fund; to help meet the running costs of the Village Hall, the Playing Field and the Telephone Kiosk. But there are still a number of people who use, or benefit from, these amenities without making a contribution. The Chairman of the Amenity Fund undertook to send out another letter seeking further contributions in the new financial year.

9 Neighbourhood Watch
Gordon Evans reported on this item in the absence of Rowena Lane. He reported that Rowena had attended one of the Neighbourhood Watch meetings, on behalf of the village and that he had attended the second meeting.

The Neighbourhood Watch Team are currently focussing on; Speeding, Weight Limits and Fly Tipping, littering and dog fouling.
Community Speed Watch will be introduced in several villages, including Sutton Veny in the coming months.
