Dear Angela, congratulations! You have won first prize in a Running competition. Your prize is a 3 week stay on an island retreat. You will be the only inhabitant, pack your bag and prepare to depart. You’ll need to think carefully about what to take with you, definitely no jeans! Enjoy..... |

So, the island belongs to you during your stay, what name would you give it? |
| Paradise as the island would be covered in Strelitzias. |

| You’re allowed to take a picnic hamper with you what food goodies would you fill it with? |
Interesting! Being such a foodie (in terms of eating, not necessarily cooking!) the hamper would have to be huge to take loads of smoked salmon, fresh fish I'd learn to catch during my stay, a crate of Nicolas Feuillatte champagne (not a well known name but a great taste & you can usually find it on offer somewhere), wonderfully fresh baked rye bread, Lurpak butter, marmite, Duerrs thick cut Seville orange marmalade. Beautiful, tender fillet steak from the Hudson Bar in Bath. Eggs, eggs, eggs (would have to be cotswold legbar) for making wonderfully fluffy, slightly undercooked scrambled eggs. Crackers for my favourite cheese: cambazola, dolcelatte, stilton & black bomber cheddar. Gordal olives mixed with piri piri and garlic. Nuts: brazils, walnuts & almonds. A mixed case of wine including delicious montepulciano, argentinian merlot and chilean cabernet sauvignon to go with the cheese. Pinot Grigio Blush to go with fresh pasta, delicious New Zealand Sauvignon blanc for when I get bored of champagne. 100% arabica coffee beans for some really strong coffee as I wake.
Wouldn't need to take any fruit as they would be readily available to pluck ripe off the trees, imagine fresh avocado, lemons, pink grapefruit, pineapple! |

You're allowed one electrical household item – what would it be? |
My coffee maker. |
 |
| You won’t need to take lots of clothes with you as the uniform is strictly shorts & t-shirts which are provided for you, but you can take one special piece of clothing – name it? |
| My lovely fluffy dressing gown. |
