Offering locally sourced produce of the highest quality in a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent food produced by Jonny Sutcliffe (previously Head Chef at the Riverbarn, Fonthill Bishop). We enjoyed great service, seriously good food and we can’t wait to return.

The Talbot Inn is a traditional yet stylish coaching inn located in Mells, a historic village in the beautiful Somerset countryside. The pub has a cosy main bar stocked with local ales, a restaurant and grill room both serving excellent pub food, a sun-filled cobbled courtyard and a beautiful garden perfect for the warmer months. The Talbot Inn is 3 miles west of Frome, great food and well worth the journey.
