We enjoyed great service, seriously good food and we can’t wait to return.

The Talbot Inn, Mells
The Talbot Inn is a traditional yet stylish coaching inn located in Mells, a historic village in the beautiful Somerset countryside. The pub has a cosy main bar stocked with local ales, a restaurant and grill room both serving excellent pub food, a sun-filled cobbled courtyard and a beautiful garden perfect for the warmer months. The Talbot Inn is 3 miles west of Frome, great food and well worth the journey.
Bird & Carter, Fonthill Bishop near Hindon
A great place to meet up for coffee or lunch in a very pretty part of Wiltshire. Bird & Carter also offer dinner on Friday evenings (you’ll need to book). Lovely venue and great food. Eat outside in comfort and style. Check out the beautiful oak tables by Matthew Burt.

Situated in a Grade II Listed former chapel, our all-day restaurant uses the best West Country produce and brings a relaxed Mediterranean approach to British food.
During the summer months you can sit outside on the jasmine-scented, sun-drenched terrace.
The Beckford Arms, Fonthill Gifford
A traditional yet stylish country inn located on the edge of the stunning rolling parkland of the Fonthill Estate in Wiltshire. Just 20 minutes south of Norton Bavant, well worth a visit for fantastic food with a wine list to match.

The Prince Leopold, Upton Lovell
Set in the pretty village of Upton Lovell in the Wylye Valley, 3 miles from Norton Bavant. The Leo hosts an attractive, welcoming bar and serves great food in the Restaurant. There is a lovely garden with the Wylye running through it. Chalk board of Specials not to be missed.
